Gen 4.
With this LED Assembly, you can upgrade your Streamlight/Insight M2 UTL, M3, M3-LED, M4, M4-PRO, M5, M6 TLI light to modern standards.
This LED assembly will almost triple the output of your light compared to the original Streamlight/Insight CFL-700 incandescent lamp assembly!
LEDs are also shock proof and has a way longer lifetime then the incandescent lamp which will burn out eventually.
This module features longer runtime with an efficient circuit board driver and a higher color temperature (whiter and brighter), this is a must have upgrade if you own the Streamlight/Insight M2 UTL,
M3, M3-LED, M4, M4-PRO, M5, M6 TLI

No modifications necessary, you just have to replace the original lamp assembly with this SIM-LED assembly.
Generation 2:
Upgraded to Nichia 319A, 5700K LED. Known for their superb pure white tint and high output. Great improvement from the previous Cree XP-G3 version.
Generation 3:
New higher power driver circuit with wider input voltage, now able to use 2 x 3.7V rechargeable battery set ups (except for M6 TLI).
Generation 4: New revised design on the aluminum base, now featuring anti-recoil spring allowing adjustable focus. Upgraded copper contact plates.
